It was another eventful day at Univ yesterday, starting off with lessons in the morning as usual. Students are doing an outstanding job of keeping on track with their studies and the enthusiasm is as high as it was on day one!
There was no time to waste in the afternoon, as the students headed into town for a tour of all the major museums, including The Ashmolean and Pitt Rivers Museums. Everyone really enjoyed getting to see the displays, and it always makes a nice change to explore what the city has to offer.
Afterwards everybody took some time to explore more of Oxford. The students seemed to really enjoy the stunning buildings and attractions that ‘The City of Dreaming Spires’ has to offer, and were keen to get exploring. The sun was shining for good portions of the trip, and there were some great pictures taken too. Keep up to date with our Social Media for a selection of our favourites throughout the course.
Once dinner had concluded in the evening, some students went over to Junkyard Golf. It proved to be one of the most popular activities so far, with a totally full sign-up sheet! There were some great competitive moments as everyone grouped up and tested their skills.
Today there are just as many events planned, including an exercise class and lawn bowls. In the evening there is also a planned Enrichment Activity focusing on how to structure assignments. There is even a planned ghost tour of Oxford!
