This Summer our programmes for students aged 19 + will return once more to some of Oxford’s fantastic colleges; University College aka Univ, St George’s Gate (an annexe of St Peter’s) and Merton.
Students on our 19 + programmes will enjoy staying in one of these fantastic locations, all of which are set within the heart of the city’s dreaming spires. Our students can look forward to the rich history that this city to offer whilst studying on tailored programmes that reflect the academic environment in which they are given.
Our 19 + students have the chance to deepen their knowledge in a wide array of subjects. For example, General English for the Modern World and Workplace will help students to develop language and grammar skills during their stay, whilst iOS Programming and Web Development will give our students a detailed insight into this fascinating and indispensable area of expertise.
Beyond their studies, all of our students at ORA receive a crafted social programme to encourage them to engage with their international peers. Outside of the classroom, excursions to Oxford as well as other locations across the UK will have the students busy throughout the duration of their stay.
Our students will enjoy brilliant tutelage from a range of dedicated academics, as well as the chance to gain different perspectives in culturally diverse classrooms. Hopefully everyone will be inspired as they will study in rooms graced by the likes of Bill Clinton, C.S. Lewis and Andrew Motion!
Being in the city centre means students on our 19 + programmes are only a stone’s throw away from Magdalen Bridge, where tourists and locals can pick up a punt to float down the River. Not fancying travelling by boat? The High Street offers a broad range of shopping where it’s possible to pick up a souvenir or two! There is never a dull moment for our students here!
We are excited to welcome our first students on our 19 + Summer Programmes at University College!
As the next two weeks progress, we’ll be posting updates, pictures and videos about all the wonderful things the students are getting up to – so make sure you bookmark this blog and follow ORA’s Social Media channels to stay up-to-date.
