The day began in a diligent manner at St Catharine’s today. Once students had enjoyed a hearty breakfast to fuel them for a busy day of classes, they set off to kickstart their mornings.
Campus was a hive of activity as this particularly energetic group were set and ready to learn. There were several brilliant classes going on at Catz throughout the day, including: Medical School Preparation and Business and Enterprise.
During the Medical School Preparation classes, the students got to develop some of their practical medical skills, as their expert teachers showed the group how to use a stethoscope on the members of their class. Despite some initial laughter at the beginning, all of the class were eager to make the best of being able to learn in a dynamic way.
In the Business and Enterprise class, the group were encouraged to begin developing their ideas and products for their Business Pitches at the end of the programme. Their teacher Jacob offered them important insights into product development to help them to build on their initial concepts.
Some of the students headed to experience some culture in the city at lunchtime and enjoyed eating in the centre of Cambridge. After lunch, there was an opportunity to enjoy a CSI crash-course Masterclass at St Edmund’s College, where the group worked together to investigate crimes!
