Summer has finally arrived in the UK, and as we look forward to a weekend of wonderful weather we also welcome our first students to St Catharine’s College, Cambridge!
St Catharine’s College, aka Catz, is located in the heart of the historic city centre just across the road from the beautiful Corpus Christi and boasts excellent research facilities. In addition to its rigorous academic standards, the college is also famous for producing notable arts alumni such as Richard Ayoade, Rebecca Hall and Sir Ian McKellen.
Over the next two weeks, our students aged 16 -18 can look forward to deepening their knowledge in their chosen subject areas. Our new Veterinary Science Programme will offer students the opportunity to develop their theory as well as allowing them to gain practical skills in being a veterinarian.
All of our classes will aim to challenge the students, and we expect them to fully immerse themselves so that they can make the most of the expertise offered by our highly-committed teachers.
ORA is dedicated to bringing together talented individuals from diverse nations, and during their stay here all of the students are encouraged to build friendships with their other international peers. It is always great to witness the beginnings of these relationships, and it is a testament to our programmes that so many of our students stay in touch with the friends they meet here after their stay is over.
Outside of the classroom, the whole group will have the opportunity to explore some of the brilliant sights of Cambridge. As well as this, there will also be a number of other fun excursions and activities for the students to enjoy in-between their busy schedules.
As the next two weeks progress, we’ll be posting updates, pictures and videos about all the wonderful things the students are getting up to – so make sure you bookmark this blog and follow ORA’s Social Media channels to stay up-to-date.
