Oxford Royale Academy are proud to once again welcome students to our St Andrews Summer School. The first and oldest university in Scotland, St Andrews has been a world-renowned institution for over 600 years, and stands as one of the top three universities in Britain.
With a packed roster ahead, students have plenty to look forward to over the next two weeks. Over the course of their studies, students can expect to receive universal and practical preparation for pursuing their chosen field in later life, from skills-based enterprise workshops to talks and debates with world-renowned guest speakers.
Students will also get the chance to immerse themselves in the breathtaking scenery of Scotland as part of a wide range of Enrichment Activities, including a tour of St Andrews, a scavenger hunt and a night of Scottish music.
ORA’s St Andrews Summer School also provides the rare opportunity to meet and connect with other students from around the world. ORA boasts over 150 nationalities across its programmes this summer alone, giving students a truly global outlook.
Whilst St Andrews itself is a small town, it is fit-to-bursting with entertainment and heritage. The New Picture House offers a taste of vintage cinema, whilst the breadth of museums and gift shops will allow students to properly acquaint themselves with their new surroundings.
As the next two weeks progress, we’ll be posting updates, pictures and videos about all the wonderful things the students are getting up to – so make sure you bookmark this blog and follow ORA’s Social Media channels to stay up-to-date.
