Summer 2019 marks Oxford Royale Academy’s return to the world-famous Yale University campus, after a very successful pilot programme in 2018. This year the operation at Yale has been expanded to maximise the impact of a summer school at this prestigious institute of learning.
A range of students, aged 13-18, will have the chance to experience life on a campus which has turned out some of America’s political powerhouses, including both Bill and Hillary Clinton. As well as this, specialists and academics will give talks and teach lessons in an amazing learning environment.
Our courses are aimed at inspiring the leaders of the future, and our younger students (aged 13-15) will have the chance to pick up some key tips on our Introduction to Leadership or Introduction to Enterprise programmes. Meanwhile our older students (aged 16-18) will be able to delve deep into these skills, and our Ivy League Experience aims to give students from both age groups a feel for life at the elite US universities.
Our Yale campus has a strong focus on higher education, with panels, lectures and workshops promoting university education. The programme also aims to give students a taste of life on campus, as well as bringing together a wide range of nationalities, providing a chance to make new friends and learn about different cultures. As well as this stellar educational experience, an exciting selection of excursions will be on offer to entertain the group throughout their stay.
Our students are in for a Yale of a time this summer!
As the next two weeks progress, we’ll be posting updates, pictures and videos about all the wonderful things the students are getting up to – so make sure you bookmark this blog and follow ORA’s Social Media channels to stay up-to-date.
