Bright lights and fluorescent colours took ORA students by storm at the end of their first week, as they partied in the famous Cherwell Boathouse.
Dinner
The evening began with a delicious and decadent formal dinner. Chatter and laughter echoed throughout the Boathouse as the courses were served, with hungry eyes keenly watching the food arrive. The savoury courses were quickly enjoyed as pupils from both campuses became better acquainted over a variety of fizzy drinks.
The desserts, however, were the main event as everyone gazed in awe at the incredible selection of sweet treats available. Shades of pink and red brought the light and fluffy Eton Mess to life, carefully garnished with sweet strawberries. Brownies topped with thick cream and plump berries, on the other hand, invited chocolate fiends to hungrily attack the cake treats and smile in content after they had engulfed the delicious dessert.
Party
Once they had finished with their dinner, students eagerly began to get their dancing shoes on to party the night away. The Cherwell Boathouse was filled with bright lights and exciting party games, challenging everyone to get involved and test their reactions with precision activities.
Students at Yarnton Manor creatively painted their faces with neon paint, fully immersing themselves in the colourful theme as they danced and laughed throughout the night. Loud music ensured that pupils were in the party spirit as they celebrated the end of a successful first week.
When they had finally been thoroughly worn out by the thrilling party, the groups returned to their accommodation to get a good rest ready for a busy weekend ahead.
