The final week at SMA has been non-stop, with a trip to Legoland, arts and crafts and Homework Club.
Legoland
The thrilling excursion of Week 5 for ORA students at SMA was to the incredible Legoland. Full of exciting rides, breathtaking exhibits and entertaining games, the park promises hours of fun.
ORA pupils at SMA certainly had a jovial time as they bravely boarded the skyscraping rides and tested their skills at fairground stalls on the ground. Some lucky students came away with huge stuffed animals, demonstrating their triumphant talents.
Pupils were particularly obsessed with the aquarium, where they could stand inside a plastic dome and immerse themselves in the tanks. Colourful and exotic fish swum past and gave everyone the chance to see the intricate details on the animals.
The sun ensured the day was dry and warm, whilst ice cream and sweet snacks kept students cool and energised throughout their long and exhilarating excursion. The bus home was much quieter than on the way out, full of sleepy pupils exhausted after such an exciting day!
Arts and Crafts
A creative workshop during the evening kept crafty students busy this week. Using everything from tissue paper and sellotape to coloured card and pens, the imaginative group got sticking and glueing to produce cards and other beautiful creations.
Homework Club and Ping Pong
Time to focus on assignments and individual study is crucial for pupils at ORA. Those at SMA were no exception, as they collected their laptops and notebooks and settled down to work on their assignments.
For those ahead on their work and not needing lots of time to complete their assignments, computer time enabled them to play some games and relax after a long day of work. Others opted to join with a round of ping pong, battling each other ferociously to earn the title of champion.
It has already been a busy week for those at SMA, but it’s not over yet. Tune in next week to hear about Graduation this evening and see how everyone got on in the final week at SMA.
