ORA pupils at St Catharine’s ended their first week in style with dinner at the Hilton Hotel, ice cream and football matches.
Hilton Meal
To celebrate the end of their first week, ORA students at St Catharine’s came together for a group dinner at the Hilton Hotel. Dressed in formal outfits, everyone looked wonderful as they were seated in the elegant dining room for an evening of good food and laughter.
The evening was a loud one and everyone enjoyed the chance to reminisce about the fantastic week they had experienced together. Delicious food arrived from all angles, with starters, mains and desserts being provided. The options all sounded enticing and some found it difficult to choose what to have!
Eventually, with all orders in, the food arrived and conversation quietened slightly as students dived into their meals. The evening provided a great opportunity for everyone to bond even more, with pupils appreciating the chance to become better acquainted with one another.
With everyone thoroughly stuffed, students returned to St Catharine’s and fell asleep straight away, worn out from the exciting evening.
Ice Cream Trip
The weekend was a relaxed one for ORA pupils at St Catharine’s. Plenty of free time ensured that students had the chance to explore the city and enjoy time together free of lessons.
With almost two days of exploring, the staff got everyone together with an ice cream trip. The hot weather ensured maximum turnout and enabled some relaxation as a group after a weekend out and about.
Football with Clare College
Alongside their karaoke event during week 1, St Catharine’s and Clare also joined together for a football match. With the Colleges going head-to-head, friendly rivalry was revealed and resident football stars showed their talent on the field.
The games were thrilling for players and spectators alike, with cheers radiating around the field and laughter erupting from all over.
Week 2 is underway for St Catharine’s, as ORA pupils get involved with lessons and excursions. Keep checking the blog page to hear what they get up to.
