Clare College has closed their doors for the final time this summer, as ORA students returned home after Session 4.
Session 4 for ORA at Clare College was jam-packed full of activities and lessons, as well as Theatre, Debate and Zoolab Masterclasses. City tours and a quiz night started the Session, encouraging friendships to form and students to bond as soon as they arrived.
The Clare College Sports Day saw tensions rise as pupils battled it out to take the winning glory. Running races, throwing activities and 3-legged races preoccupied students and revealed competitive streaks in some and exceptional teamwork in others.
A beach-themed end-of-week party got pupils dancing and singing together, laughing as they attempted to balance on the merciless surfboard! Snacks and drinks kept everybody energised throughout the evening and it was certainly a long and loud one.
Trips to the Cambridge Botanical Gardens and Hampton Court Palace revealed our in-house photographers, who wasted no time angling themselves to get the perfect shot. The glorious sun made both excursions particularly enjoyable and resulted in some beautiful photographs.
Karaoke and ORA’s Got Talent both proved to be exciting evenings of music and laughter at Clare College. As Graduation rolled around, friendships had been formed and incredible memories forged at Clare College.
We hope to see many ORA students return to Clare College next year for another summer of fun but, in the meantime, we wish them every luck in the future.
