What a busy weekend across all of ORA’s campuses, as the campus teams bid farewell to session 2 students at Yarnton Manor, but welcomed students and parents from around the world to Oxford Royale Academy for the beginning of session 3!
The new arrivals are participating in our Summer School 2018 and are about to embark on a unique summer experience in Oxford, Cambridge , St Andrews, London or Stanford- where students will live, dine and study for two or more weeks.
The campus teams have been working hard to ensure a smooth and welcoming arrival for our students, leading into a rich and rewarding academic and cultural programme. Students can expect world-class teaching in their chosen subjects, as well as an exciting programme of social and cultural events to enjoy outside of the classroom.
The colleges were expertly prepared and looked glorious in the British summer sunshine as students arrived. As always, students were then welcomed with a speech by their Programme Director who delivered an inspiring talk to parents and students, describing what lies ahead for the summer and what to expect as an ORA Summer School student.
Our new arrivals were treated to refreshments on arrival as they completed their induction, and students showed their excitement and enthusiasm to make friends and collaborate by participating in ice-breaker games in the afternoon.
Over the course of the next two weeks – with all of the tuition and cultural activities they will bring – students can be sure that they will forge lasting friendships and connections with their classmates. Living and studying so closely with one another will be the ideal opportunity for students to make intellectual and personal bonds to carry with them into future studies and experiences. We hope all new arrivals are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead.
