It only seems like yesterday that we said farewell to session 1 students at Yarnton, and yet over the weekend we said our second lot of goodbyes to session 2 students.
Graduation was a splendid day, with students dressed to impress and making the most of their final days in the (very rare!) hot weather in the UK with their graduation party.
After being awarded with their unique graduation certificates to mark the end of their summer course at Yarnton and to congratulate them on their achievements, students enjoyed a real summer graduation party on the Yarnton Manor lawns, complete with delicious food and fruit cocktails!
The past two weeks, and for many the past four weeks, have been very busy for the students. Outside of all of the academic study and assignments, students have broadened their cultural and social experiences through our intellectually stimulating programme of extra curricular activities and social activities. A particular highlight for students last week was the trip to London, where students explored the likes of well-known areas such as Covent Garden, as well as watching the famous Lion King musical! It was a great opportunity for the students and campus team- who have been working very hard to ensure that students have an unforgettable experience at Yarnton this summer- to unwind and share fantastic moments together.
We’d like to congratulate all of the hard-working students who have really get stuck in with the summer programme at ORA on all of their achievements and participation during session 2 at Yarnton, and we look forward to welcoming you again next year!
