To end the first week of jam-packed learning and fun, students from Yarnton session 2 were glowing with joy as they let off some steam at Oxford’s beautiful Town Hall with an exciting Neon Party!
It was an experience like no other, with disco lights, glow sticks, table football, and of course, dancing! In just one week, students have forged life-long friendships and created memories which will stay with them beyond their summer at ORA , and it was fantastic to see these friendships come to life over a three course dinner and on the dance floor after a busy week of classes and cultural enrichment.
Students were very excited for the party, following an afternoon of yoga, meditation and drawing during their free time, they were well-rested and ready to welcome the weekend with a bang. Thankfully, on Saturday the students had free time in Oxford city centre, which meant that they had no reason to stop partying as long as they wanted on Friday night in a room full of neon lights!
Table football was also a highlight for the students, feeling inspired by the World Cup football matches all of this week, they showed off their competitive side with endless rounds of table football in between dancing and having photos.
Of course, session 2 week 2 is equally packed with enriching activities and stimulating classes to complete the students’ summer programme at Yarnton Manor, and we’ll be sure to keep updating you with all the latest photos and blogs!
